I took the test as as usual am not one who recognizes an American Terrier. I really hate the name pit bull because of all the negative connotations it carries. Many years ago I had one of these wonderful dogs and her name was Trinity, but because she was white in color she succumed to cancer, and I still think of her offen. We just had another police shooting of one of these dogs, and it was a 10 year old dog that had gotten out of its house. The police pepper sprayed the dog, but said that it still came at them and they were forced to kill it with a shotgun. Seems somewhat excessive in my opinion. Punish the deed, not the breed. |
